managing my linode account has been painless so far. billing, users, and settings are all easy to find, and i haven’t had to dig around forever to change anything. definitely makes things simpler.

I’ve been using Linode for a handful of small projects and test servers, and it’s been painless overall. The setup is straightforward, the docs are clear, and I can usually get a VPS up and running fast without having to click through a bunch of confusing menus. SSH, backups, and DNS all feel simple enough to handle. The pricing is solid too. As a developer, I like that it mostly just gets out of the way and lets me focus on the actual work, if that makes sense.

The network has been fast so far and pages load quickly for me, so I’ll give them that. But it’s frustrating that this wasn’t the case from the start. They really should’ve had things running this smoothly already.

What I like is that the plans are straightforward, so I don’t feel like I’m constantly watching out for surprise charges. For what I’m paying, the performance has been solid and does what I need it to do.
It’s not perfect, but my experience has been really good overall. If you just need reliable hosting without paying too much, I’d say Linode is worth checking out...

I’ve been using Linode for a while, and I’ve had to reach out to support a few times after breaking something in my VPS config. Oops. The people who replied actually seemed to understand the issue instead of just sending canned copy-paste answers.

They helped point me in the right direction and explained a bit of what the logs were saying, which made a big difference. Helpful. Replies weren’t always instant, so I’d say 4 stars, but overall the tech support has been solid

I’ve been running a small app on linode that gets random bursts of traffic every now and then, and it’s held up well. When I need more power, scaling the server up is usually simple and I dont have to rebuild the whole setup just to add resources.

Most changes kick in fast, and I appreciate that the pricing is easy enough to understand without feeling like I’m guessing. It’s not totally perfect though, I still end up checking the docs twice sometimes when something isn’t super clear.

Overall, it’s been a good experience for me. I’d give it 4 stars because it works well and scales nicely, but a few parts of the process could still be a bit smoother

I appreciated that the billing was clear right from the start. I think it’s only fair for customers to know what they’re being charged for upfront, and in this case there weren’t any surprise fees or confusing add-ons...

The migration went smoothly overall . I did run into one issue along the way , but support helped me get it sorted out without much trouble .

Had to restore my server last night and it was back up quick, with about zero headache. really glad I had backups set up.

I mostly use Linode for small VPS projects, and the control panel hasn’t been hard to figure out at all. I don’t have no trouble finding backups, resizing a server, or doing a quick reboot when I need to. It’s not packed with a bunch of clutter either, which I really like.

The docs were actually clear, which made getting set up a lot less painful. I was able to find what I needed without digging around forever, so that was a nice suprise.

I've been happy with the security features on linode. Setting up 2FA didn't take long, the firewall rules are easy enough to understand, and the alerts help me spot weird login activity. It definitely feels safer than my old host without making everything a hassle

I mostly use Linode because their data center locations line up well with where my users are. Newark and Frankfurt have both been solid for me, and latency has been decent most of the time, so I can’t really complain there.
I do wish they had more regions in certain areas, especially South America. I’m also not the type to put a ton of faith in customer service unless I absolutely have to deal with them, so I’d rather the basics just keep working without needing support. For the price and the setup, though, I’m happy enough overall.

Setup barely took any time, which was a relief because I don’t have a ton of faith in customer service helping if something goes wrong. Luckily, I didn’t really need them.
